Chartered Logistics drops after large bulk deal

Chartered Logistics fell 1.36% to Rs 21.80 at 13:37 IST on BSE after a large bulk deal of 24.26 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 21 per share at 09:23 IST on BSE.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 87.45 points or 0.32% at 27,200.72

Bulk deal boosted volume on the scrip. On the BSE, 39.39 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2.98 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 23.90 and a low of Rs 21 so far during the day.

 

The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 26.70 on 4 August 2016 and a 52-week low of Rs 13.25 on 12 February 2016. The stock had outperformed the market over the past 30 days till 16 January 2017, rising 3.03% compared with the 3.01% rise in the Sensex. The scrip also outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 5.49% as against Sensex's 2.72% decline.

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 9.93 crore. Face value per share is Re 1.

Chartered Logistics' net profit rose 49.6% to Rs 4.10 crore on 3.2% decline in net sales to Rs 38.20 crore in Q3 December 2016 over Q3 December 2015.
