Stocks in Asia-Pacific rose in light trade on Monday, 15 February 2021, as several bourses remain closed for the Lunar New Year. Markets in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan as well as the U.S. are closed on Monday for holidays.
The European and U.S. markets were modestly higher on Friday. U.S. stocks advanced as investors looked toward signs that Washington is moving ahead with a spending bill.
