The Mainland China equity market closed session higher after recouping early losses on Friday, 27 April 2018, as gains in shares of Airport Services, Health Care Services, Apparel Retail and Biotechnology issues were more than offset by losses in offset losses in Oil & Gas Drilling, Internet Software & Services, Consumer Electronics, and Agricultural Products stocks. The Shanghai Composite Index grew 7.20 points, or 0.23%, to 3,082.23. The blue-chip CSI300 index closed up 1.38 points, or 0.04%, to 3,756.88. For the week, CSI300 slipped 0.1%, while SSEC gained 0.3%.
