The Mainland China equity market finished session down on Wednesday, 27 December 2017, as investors worried about tightening liquidity in the run-up to the year-end. Most of SSE sectors declined, with shares of heavyweight financial and transport counters being notable losers. The Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.92% to 3,275.78 points. The blue-chip CSI300 index was down 1.54%. The smaller Shenzhen index ended down 0.7% and the start-up board ChiNext Composite index was weaker by 0.77%.
