Cipla Ltd gained for a fifth straight session today

Cipla Ltd gained for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 546.3, up 1.8% on the day as on 12:54 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.81% on the day, quoting at 10691.2. The Sensex is at 35182.7, up 0.74%. Cipla Ltd has slipped around 10.06% in last one month.

 

Meanwhile, Nifty Pharma index of which Cipla Ltd is a constituent, has slipped around 5.99% in last one month and is currently quoting at 8297.25, up 2.66% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 10.42 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 20.37 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark May futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 545.9, up 1.63% on the day. Cipla Ltd is up 8.1% in last one year as compared to a 11.31% spurt in NIFTY and a 2.74% spurt in the Nifty Pharma index.

The PE of the stock is 28.23 based on TTM earnings ending March 18.
