For exclusive marketing of Teva's products in South Africa
Cipla announced that Medpro Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Cipla Medpro, the third largest pharmaceutical company in South Africa has entered into a collaboration with Teva Pharmaceutical, an affiliate of Teva Pharmacuetical Industries. The collaboration is restricted to the territory of South Africa.The collaboration is a sales and distribution agreement whereby Cipla Medpro will exclusively market Teva's broad pharmaceutical product portforlio in South Africa. The collaboration is subject to approval by the Competition Commission of South Africa.
