Coromandel International leads gainers in 'A' group

Cipla, Suzlon Energy, Petronet LNG and Bharti Airtel are among the other gainers

Coromandel International spurted 9.91% to Rs 287.90 and topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. The stock saw volume of 3.08 lakh shares, higher than two-week average daily volume of 18,000 shares.

Cipla gained 5.23% to Rs 557.40 after scaling a record high of Rs 575.20 in intraday trade today, 2 September 2014. The stock and was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. As per reports, Cipla has launched an anti-asthma inhaler in Germany and Sweden that is a generic version of GlaxoSmithKline Plc's Advair.

Suzlon Energy jumped 4.88% to Rs 23.65. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

 

Petronet LNG surged 4.73% to Rs 195.90 and was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Bharti Airtel rose 4.24% to Rs 391.90 after hitting a 52-week high of Rs 394.05 in intraday trade today, 2 September 2014. It was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
