Cyient inches up after bulk deals

Cyient was up 0.3% at Rs 644.90 at 9:17 IST on BSE after the stock witnessed bulk deals on the NSE yesterday, 24 January 2018.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 36.73 points or 0.1% at 36,124.91. The S&P BSE Mid-Cap index advanced 0.11%, outperforming the Sensex.

On the BSE, 225 shares were traded on the counter so far as against average daily volumes of 30,387 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 645.90 and a low of Rs 644.90 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 685 on 23 January 2018 and a 52-week low of Rs 435.05 on 3 March 2017.

 

The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 56.29 crore. Face value per share is Rs 5.

Deutsche Securties Mauritius sold 54.55 lakh shares of Cyient at Rs 630.35 per share in a bulk deal on the NSE yesterday, 24 January 2018. Goldman Sachs India Fund bought 16.50 lakh shares at Rs 630 apiece. Deutsche Securties Mauritius controlled 4.85% stake end December 2017.

Cyient's consolidated net profit fell 20.6% to Rs 87.10 crore on 1.85% growth in net sales to Rs 983.30 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q2 September 2017.

Cyient provides engineering, manufacturing, geospatial, network and operations management services to global industry leaders.
