CCI imposes penalty of Rs 2 crore on SCM Soilfert
Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation announced that the Competition Commission of India vide its Order dated 10 February 2015 which was issued on 02 March 2015 has imposed a penalty of Rs. 2 crore on SCM Soilfert, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, and the Company pursuant to the provisions of Section 43A of Competition Act, 2002, with respect to notice filed under sub-section (2) of Section 6 of Competition Act, 2002 in connection with the acquisition of shares of Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilisers.The Company is in the process of deciding its next course of action in the matter and the same will be informed in due course.
