Deepak Nitrite on Friday (17 April) said it partially commenced production at its manufacturing facilities situated at Nandesari, Roha, Taloja and Dahej.
On 25 March 2020, the company had announced temporary suspension of operations due to nationwide lockdown. Later on 7 April 2020, the firm had informed about commencement of manufacturing one of its products at Nandesan facility.The company later applied to concerned authorities for granting permission to manufacture various other products which are essential raw materials used in the manufacturing of essential commodities.
Accordingly, having received the permission from concerned authorities, the company partially commenced production of some of its other products at its manufacturing facilities situated at Nandesari, Roha, Taloja and Dahej. The announcement was made after market hours on Friday, 17 April 2020.
The company's consolidated net profit surged 294.74% to Rs 156.71 crore in Q3 December 2019 as against Rs 39.70 crore reported in Q3 December 2018. Net sales advanced 46.08% to Rs 1,119.86 crore in Q3 December 2019 over Q3 December 2018.
Deepak Nitrite manufactures chemicals and fertilizers. Shares of Deepak Nitrite fell 2.02% to Rs 460 on BSE. The scrip hovered in the range of Rs 460 to Rs 476.20 in intraday.
