Delta Corp declines on profit selling

Delta Corp fell 1.52% to Rs 305.20 at 15:04 IST on BSE on profit booking after a recent rally.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 15.92 points, or 0.05% to 33,793.30.

On the BSE, 4.93 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 6.67 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 311.25 and a low of Rs 302.15 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 321 on 20 December 2017. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 94.85 on 27 December 2016.

 

Shares of Delta Corp rose 25.75% in six trading sessions to settle at Rs 309.90 yesterday, 20 December 2017, from its close of Rs 246.45 on 12 December 2017.

On a consolidated basis, Delta Corp's net profit rose 34.1% to Rs 43.26 crore on 8.2% growth in net sales to Rs 145.29 crore in Q2 September 2017 over Q2 September 2016.

Delta Corp is engaged in the casino (live, electronic and online) gaming industry in India. It currently owns and operates casinos in India, in the states of Goa and Sikkim, offering approximately 1,600 gaming positions.
