Delta Corp gains after turnaround in Q3

Delta Corp rose 3.28% to Rs 70.85 at 11:11 IST on BSE after the company reported consolidated net profit of Rs 7.70 crore in Q3 December 2015 compared with net loss of Rs 0.43 crore in Q3 December 2014.

The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 18 January 2016.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 179.96 points or 0.74% at 24,368.33.

On BSE, so far 3.19 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 5.04 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock hit a high of Rs 72.70 and a low of Rs 69.50 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 103.90 on 3 February 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 65.10 on 13 August 2015. The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 18 January 2016, sliding 13% compared with Sensex's 5.22% fall. The scrip had also underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 18.91% as against Sensex's 11.12% fall.

 

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 23.07 crore. Face value per share is Rs 1.

Delta Corp's net sales rose 23.7% to Rs 100.14 crore in Q3 December 2015 over Q3 December 2014.

Delta Corp is one of the largest gaming and hospitality company in India.
