Delta Corp rallies 26.5% in six sessions

Delta Corp rose 2.5% to Rs 311.75 at 12:13 IST on BSE, with the stock extending its recent winning streak.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 44.51 points or 0.13% at 33,881.25.

On the BSE, 9.06 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 7.34 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 315.80 so far during the day, which is a record high. The stock hit a low of Rs 305 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 94.85 on 27 December 2016.

 

The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 26.72 crore. Face value per share is Rs 1.

Shares of Delta Corp have rallied 26.49% in six trading sessions to its ruling market price, from its closing of Rs 246.45 on 12 December 2017.

On a consolidated basis, Delta Corp's net profit rose 34.1% to Rs 43.26 crore on 8.2% growth in net sales to Rs 145.29 crore in Q2 September 2017 over Q2 September 2016.

Delta Corp is engaged in the casino (live, electronic and online) gaming industry in India. The company owns and operates offshore casinos in Goa.
