DEN Networks gains after twin bulk deals

DEN Networks advanced 1.66% to Rs 153.30 at 15:09 IST on BSE after 0.28% equity changed hands in two bulk deals today, 12 March 2014.

A bulk deal of 50,000 shares was executed on the DEN Networks counter at Rs 150 per share at 11:46 IST on BSE today, 12 March 2014. Another bulk deal of 4.50 lakh shares was executed on the counter at Rs 150 per share at 11:46 IST on BSE today, 12 March 2014.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 18.24 points, or 0.08%, to 21,844.66

On BSE, so far 6.33 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against an average daily volume of 74,373 shares in the past one quarter.

 

The stock hit a high of Rs 155 and a low of Rs 149.50 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 231.65 on 7 May 2013. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 110.45 on 5 December 2013.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 16 January 2014, rising 2.1% compared with the Sensex's 2.93% rise. The scrip, however, outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 12.96% as against Sensex's 3.49% rise.

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 178.20 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

DEN Networks' consolidated net profit fell 59.1% to Rs 7.02 crore on 14.4% rise in net sales to Rs 269.31 crore in Q3 December 2013 over Q3 December 2012.
