Emami Paper Mills hit an upper circuit limit of 10% at Rs 89.50 after net profit surged 222.9% to Rs 18.50 crore on 7.4% rise in net sales to Rs 400.08 crore in Q3 December 2019 over Q3 December 2018.
The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 9 January 2020.The stock hit an upper circuit limit of 10% to end at 81.40 on Thursday. it has risen 20.95% in two sessions.
On the BSE, 734 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 586 shares in the past two weeks.
Emami Paper Mills is engaged in the manufacture of newsprint and writing and printing paper.
