Two-day net inflow of Rs 227.40 crore on 1 and 3 November 2013

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 227.40 crore during two trading sessions on Friday, 1 November 2013 and Sunday, 3 November 2013. The stock market was closed on Monday, 4 November 2013 on account of Diwali-Balipratipada.

The two-day net inflow of Rs 227.40 crore on Friday, 1 November 2013 and Sunday, 3 November 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2591.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 2364.30 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 229 crore into the secondary equity markets on 1 and 3 November 2013, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2591.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 2362.70 crore.

 

There was an outflow of Rs 1.60 crore from the category 'primary market others' during two trading sessions on Friday, 1 November 2013 and Sunday, 3 November 2013.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 2009.30 crore in November 2013 so far (till 3 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 15706.20 crore in October 2013.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 90943 crore in 2013 so far (till 3 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.

There are a total of 1,749 foreign funds registered with the Securities & Exchange Board of India.
