Net inflow of Rs 376.70 crore on 12 November 2013

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 376.70 crore on Tuesday, 12 November 2013, higher than net inflow of Rs 310.70 crore on Monday, 11 November 2013.

The net inflow of Rs 376.70 crore on Tuesday, 12 November 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2562.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 2186 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 378.60 crore into the secondary equity markets on 12 November 2013 which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2562.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 2184.10 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had shed 209.05 points or 1.02% to settle at 20,281.91 on that day, its lowest level since 10 October 2013.

 

There was an outflow of Rs 1.90 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Tuesday, 12 November 2013.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 4002.20 crore in November 2013 so far (till 12 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 15706.20 crore in October 2013.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 92935.90 crore in 2013 so far (till 12 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.

There are a total of 1,745 foreign funds registered with the Securities & Exchange Board of India.
