Two-day net inflow of Rs 1597.70 crore on 13 and 14 November 2013
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 1597.70 crore during two trading sessions on Wednesday, 13 November 2013 and Thursday, 14 November 2013.
The two-day net inflow of Rs 1597.70 crore on 13 and 14 November 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 5584.40 crore and gross sales of Rs 3986.70 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 1315.50 crore into the secondary equity markets on 13 and 14 November 2013 which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 5288.80 crore and gross sales of Rs 3973.30 crore.
There was a net inflow of Rs 282.20 crore into the category 'primary market others' on Wednesday, 13 November 2013 and Thursday, 14 November 2013, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 295.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 13.40 crore.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 5599.90 crore in November 2013 so far (till 14 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 15706.20 crore in October 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 94533.60 crore in 2013 so far (till 14 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
There are a total of 1,745 foreign funds registered with the Securities & Exchange Board of India.
