Net inflow of Rs 411.20 crore on 10 April 2014

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 411.20 crore on Thursday, 10 April 2014, compared with net inflow of Rs 1059.20 crore on Wednesday, 9 April 2014.

The net inflow of Rs 411.20 crore on Thursday, 10 April 2014, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 5044.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 4633.50 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 445.20 crore into the secondary equity market on Thursday, 10 April 2014, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 5044.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 4599.50 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had garnered 12.99 points or 0.06% to settle at 22,715.33 on that day, a record closing high.

 

There was an outflow of Rs 34 crore from the category 'primary market & others' on Thursday, 10 April 2014.

FIIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 7764.30 crore in April 2014 so far (till 10 April 2014). FIIs purchased shares worth a net Rs 20077.20 crore in March 2014.

FIIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 29960.10 crore in this calendar year so far (till 10 April 2014). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 113135.70 crore in 2013 calendar year.

There are a total of 1,714 foreign funds registered with the Securities & Exchange Board of India.
