Net inflow of Rs 755.40 crore on 14 October 2013
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth net Rs 755.40 crore on Monday, 14 October 2013, compared with inflow of Rs 993.60 crore on Friday, 11 October 2013.
The net inflow of Rs 755.40 crore on Monday, 14 October 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2255.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 1500.30 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 760.70 crore into the secondary equity markets on 14 October 2013 which was a result of gross purchases Rs 2255.60 crore and gross sales Rs 1495 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had garnered 78.95 points or 0.38% to settle at 20,607.54 on that day, its highest closing level since 19 September 2013.
There was a net outflow of Rs 5.20 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Monday, 14 October 2013, which was a result of gross purchases Rs 0.10 crore and gross sales Rs 5.40 crore.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 4979.30 crore in this month so far (till 14 October 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 13057.80 crore in September 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 78206.80 crore in 2013 so far (till 14 October 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
