Net inflow of Rs 313.80 crore on 16 September 2013
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth net Rs 313.80 crore on Monday, 16 September 2013, compared with net outflow of Rs 78.70 crore on Friday, 13 September 2013.
The net inflow of Rs 313.80 crore on Monday, 16 September 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2828.50 crore and gross sales of Rs 2514.80 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 317 crore into the secondary equity markets on 16 September 2013, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2828.50 crore and gross sales of Rs 2511.60 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had advanced 9.71 points or 0.05% to settle at 19,742.47 on that day, its highest closing level since 12 September 2013.
There was an outflow of Rs 3.20 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Monday, 16 September 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 6607.30 crore in September 2013 so far (till 16 September 2013). FIIs sold shares worth a net Rs 5922.50 crore in August 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 66777 crore in 2013 so far (till 16 September 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
