Net inflow of Rs 745.70 crore on 29 November 2013
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 745.70 crore on Friday, 29 November 2013 compared with net inflow of Rs 210.80 crore on Thursday, 28 November 2013.
The net inflow of Rs 745.70 crore on Friday, 29 November 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2622.30 crore and gross sales of Rs 1876.70 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 747 crore into the secondary equity markets on 29 November 2013 which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2622.30 crore and gross sales of Rs 1875.40 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had surged 257.02 points or 1.25% to settle at 20,791.93 on that day, its highest closing level since 19 November 2013.
There was an outflow of Rs 1.30 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Friday, 29 November 2013.
FIIs purchased shares worth a net Rs 8116.10 crore in November 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 97795.50 crore in 2013 so far (till 29 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
