Net inflow of Rs 20.20 crore on 14 February 2014

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 20.20 crore on Friday, 14 February 2014, compared with net inflow of Rs 388.80 crore on Thursday, 13 February 2014.

The net inflow of Rs 20.20 crore on Friday, 14 February 2014, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2360.80 crore and gross sales of Rs 2340.60 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 20.30 crore into the secondary equity market on Friday, 14 February 2014, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2360.80 crore and gross sales of Rs 2340.40 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had jumped 173.47 points or 0.86% to settle at 20,366.82 on that day, its highest closing level since 12 February 2014.

 

There was an outflow of Rs 0.10 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Friday, 14 February 2014.

FIIs have sold shares worth net Rs 1992.30 crore in this month so far (till 14 February 2014). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 714.30 crore in January 2014.

FIIs have sold shares worth a net Rs 1277.90 crore in this year so far (till 14 February 2014). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 113135.70 crore in 2013.

There are a total of 1,725 foreign funds registered with the Securities & Exchange Board of India.
