Net inflow of Rs 1147.10 crore on 15 October 2013
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 1147.10 crore on Tuesday, 15 October 2013, higher than inflow of Rs 755.40 crore on Monday, 14 October 2013.
The net inflow of Rs 1147.10 crore on Tuesday, 15 October 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2550.40 crore and gross sales of Rs 1403.30 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 1147.40 crore into the secondary equity markets on 15 October 2013 which was a result of gross purchases Rs 2550.40 crore and gross sales Rs 1403 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had lost 59.92 points or 0.29% to settle at 20,547.62 on that day, its lowest closing level since 11 October 2013.
There was a net outflow of Rs 0.30 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Tuesday, 15 October 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 6126.40 crore in this month so far (till 15 October 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 13057.80 crore in September 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 79353.90 crore in 2013 so far (till 15 October 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
