Net inflow of Rs 772.50 crore on 15 January 2014

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 772.50 crore on Wednesday, 15 January 2014.

The net inflow of Rs 772.50 crore on Wednesday, 15 January 2014, was a result of gross purchases Rs 3625 crore and gross sales Rs 2852.40 crore. The entire net inflow of Rs 772.50 crore on 15 January 2014 pertained to secondary equity market transactions. The S&P BSE Sensex had jumped 256.61 points or 1.22% to 21,289.49 on that day, its highest closing level since 9 December 2013.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 1589.70 crore in January 2014 so far (till 15 January 2014). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 16085.80 crore in December 2013.

 

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 1589.90 crore in 2014 so far (till 15 January 2014). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 113135.70 crore in 2013.

There are a total of 1,724 foreign funds registered with the Securities & Exchange Board of India.
