The finance minister as a part of financial package in the wake of coronavirus outbreak has extended the last date for filing income tax return for FY19 to June 30, 2020. The interest rate for delayed payment is cut to 9% from 12%. Meanwhile a reduced interest of 9%, instead of 18%, will be charged for delayed deposit of TDS.
