Net inflow of Rs 771.77 crore on 10 June 2014

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 771.77 crore on Tuesday, 10 June 2014, which was higher than inflow of Rs 583.02 crore on Monday, 9 June 2014.

The net inflow of Rs 771.77 crore on Tuesday, 10 June 2014, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 5407.77 crore and gross sales of Rs 4636 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 764.71 crore into the secondary equity market on 10 June 2014, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 5395.74 crore and gross sales of Rs 4631.03 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had risen 3.48 points or 0.01% to settle at 25,583.69 on that day, a record closing high for the index.

 

There was a net inflow of Rs 7.06 crore into the category 'primary market & others' on 10 June 2014, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 12.03 crore and gross sales of Rs 4.97 crore.

FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 10409.89 crore in this month so far (till 10 June 2014). FPIs bought shares worth Rs 14006.15 crore in May 2014.

FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 56214.20 crore in this calendar year so far (till 10 June 2014). FPIs bought shares worth a net Rs 113135.90 crore in 2013 calendar year.
