Fortis Healthcare on 10 April 2018 has received an unsolicited binding offer, revising the earlier construct of the scheme and/or transaction, from Manipal Health Enterprises. The said revised proposal is under evaluation by the Company.
On 27 March 2018, a composite scheme of arrangement between Fortis Healthcare, Manipal Health Enterprises, Fortis Hospitals and La Femme was approved whereby the hospitals business of Fortis Healthcare would be merged into Manipal Health Enterprises (composite scheme) (demerger).
