Net inflow of Rs 44.11 crore on 26 October 2017

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks worth a net Rs 44.11 crore from the secondary equity markets yesterday, 26 October 2017, compared with net inflow of Rs 4757.47 crore on 25 October 2017. On 25 October 2017, the Sensex rose 104.63 points or 0.32% to settle at 33,147.13, its record closing high.

The net inflow of Rs 44.11 crore on 26 October 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 10248.12 crore and gross sales of Rs 10204.01 crore.

The net inflow of Rs 1336.03 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 26 October 2017, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 1336.41 crore and gross sales of Rs 0.38 crore.

 

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 5060.17 crore into the secondary equity markets in October 2017 so far (till 26 October 2017). They had sold stocks worth a net Rs 19973.64 crore into the secondary equity markets in September 2017.

FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 3298.75 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2017 so far (till 26 October 2017). They had purchased shares worth a net Rs 12094.42 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2016.

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 7866.79 crore from the primary market & others' category in October 2017 so far (till 26 October 2017). They had bought stocks worth a net Rs 8581.37 crore from the primary market & others' category in September 2017.

FPIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 33860.93 crore from the 'primary markets & others' category in calendar year 2017 so far (till 26 October 2017). The net inflow from FPIs into the category 'primary markets & others' had totaled Rs 8471.76 crore in calendar year 2016.
