Net inflow of Rs 516.68 crore on 23 August 2018

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks worth a net Rs 516.68 crore from the secondary equity markets on 23 August 2018 as compared with net inflow of Rs 385.58 crore on 21 August 2018.

The net inflow of Rs 516.68 crore into the secondary equity markets on 23 August 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 6422.81 crore and gross sales of Rs 5906.13 crore.

There was a net outflow of Rs 101.54 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 23 August 2018.

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 22756.42 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 23 August 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.

 

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 20637.50 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 23 August 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
