Net outflow of Rs 930.86 crore on 30 November 2015

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 930.86 crore yesterday, 30 November 2015, higher than net outflow of Rs 455.71 crore on Friday, 27 November 2015.

The net outflow of Rs 930.86 crore from the secondary equity markets on 30 November 2015 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 11803.49 crore and gross sales of Rs 12734.35 crore. On that day, the Sensex had risen 17.47 points or 0.07% to settle at 26,145.67, its highest closing level since 6 November 2015.

There was a net outflow of Rs 986.72 crore from the category 'primary markets & others' on 30 November 2015.

 

FPIs have sold shares worth a net Rs 8413.23 crore into the secondary equity markets in November 2015. They have purchased stocks worth a net Rs 6358.77 crore from the secondary equity markets in October 2015.

FPIs have sold shares worth a net Rs 2704.60 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2015 so far (till 30 November 2015). They bought shares worth a net Rs 84440.80 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2014.

The net inflow of FPIs into the category 'primary markets & others' has totaled Rs 1339.25 crore in November 2015. The inflow of FPIs into the category 'primary markets & others' totaled Rs 290.81 crore in October 2015.

The inflow of FPIs into the category 'primary markets & others' has totaled Rs 21409.90 crore in calendar year 2015 so far (till 30 November 2015). The inflow of FPIs into the category 'primary markets & others' stood at Rs 12615 crore in the calendar year 2014.
