Net outflow of Rs 39.07 crore on 8 February 2016
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) have sold stocks worth a net Rs 39.07 crore on Monday, 8 February 2016, lower than net outflow of Rs 467.48 crore during the preceding trading session.
The net outflow of Rs 39.07 crore from the secondary equity markets on 8 February 2016 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 1875.87 crore and gross sales of Rs 1914.94 crore. On that day, the Sensex lost 329.55 points or 1.34% to settle at 24,287.42, its lowest closing level since 3 February 2016.

FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 45.08 crore from the secondary equity markets this month so far (till 8 February 2016). FPIs sold stocks worth a net Rs 10181.93 crore into the secondary equity markets last month.
