Net outflow of Rs 762.42 crore on 13 September 2017
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 762.42 crore into the secondary equity markets on 13 September 2017, compared with net outflow of Rs 1233.47 crore on 12 September 2017. On 13 September 2017, the Sensex rose 27.75 points or 0.09% to settle at 32,186.41.
The net outflow of Rs 762.42 crore on 13 September 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3736.18 crore and gross sales of Rs 4498.60 crore.
There was a net inflow of Rs 3348.71 crore into the category 'primary market & others' on 13 September 2017, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3349.35 crore and gross sales of Rs 0.64 crore.
FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 5661.52 crore into the secondary equity markets in September 2017 so far (till 13 September 2017). They had sold stocks worth a net Rs 15935.61 crore into the secondary equity markets in August 2017.
