Net outflow of Rs 2156.09 crore on 16 February and 19 February 2018
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 2156.09 crore into the secondary equity markets in two trading sessions on 16 February and 19 February 2018.
The net outflow of Rs 2156.09 crore on 16 February and 19 February 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 6523.86 crore and gross sales of Rs 8679.95 crore.
There was a net inflow of Rs 3313.38 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 16 February and 19 February 2018, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3322.12 crore and gross sales of Rs 8.74 crore.
FPIs sold stocks worth a net Rs 9922.78 crore into the secondary equity markets in February 2018 so far till 19 February 2018. FPIs had bought stocks worth a net Rs 13635.44 crore from the secondary equity markets in January 2018.
