Net outflow of Rs 353.14 crore on 26 April 2018

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 353.14 crore from the secondary equity markets on 26 April 2018, compared with net outflow of Rs 101.13 crore on 25 April 2018. On 26 April 2018, the Sensex gained 212.33 points or 0.62% to settle at 34,713.60.

The net outflow of Rs 353.14 crore into the secondary equity markets on 26 April 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 7356.52 crore and gross sales of Rs 7709.66 crore.

There was a net inflow of Rs 11.20 crore from the 'primary market & others' category on 26 April 2018, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 11.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 0.50 crore.

 

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 8116.59 crore into the secondary equity markets in April 2018 so far (till 26 April 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 6685.63 crore from the secondary equity markets last month.

FPIs have purchased stocks worth a net Rs 2564.38 crore from the primary market & others' category in April 2018 so far (till 26 April 2018). They purchased stocks worth a net Rs 4968.66 crore from the primary market & others' category last month.

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 4990.06 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 26 April 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 13450.70 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 26 April 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
