Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 907.69 crore from the secondary equity markets on 27 and 30 April 2018.
The net outflow of Rs 907.69 crore from the secondary equity markets on 27 and 30 April 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 8565.77 crore and gross sales of Rs 9473.46 crore.
There was a net outflow of Rs 8 crore from the 'primary market & others' category on 27 and 30 April 2018, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 0.94 crore and gross sales of Rs 8.94 crore.
FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 5897.75 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 30 April 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.
FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 13442.70 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 30 April 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
