Net outflow of Rs 277.98 crore on 18 May 2018

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 277.98 crore into the secondary equity markets on 18 May 2018, lower than net outflow of Rs 764.95 crore on 17 May 2018.

The net outflow of Rs 277.98 crore into the secondary equity markets on 18 May 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 5553.97 crore and gross sales of Rs 5831.95 crore.

There was a net inflow of Rs 2.26 crore from the 'primary market & others' category on 18 May 2018.

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 10485.41 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 18 May 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.

 

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 13840.25 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 18 May 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
