Net inflow of Rs 736.33 crore on 6 November 2017

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks worth a net Rs 736.33 crore from the secondary equity markets on 6 November 2017, compared with net inflow of Rs 491.41 crore on 3 November 2017. On 6 November 2017, the Sensex had risen 45.63 points or 0.14% to settle at 33,731.19, a record closing high.

The net inflow of Rs 736.33 crore on 6 November 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 5139.38 crore and gross sales of Rs 4403.05 crore.

There was an inflow of Rs 1.77 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 6 November 2017.

 

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 3018.03 crore from the secondary equity markets in November 2017 so far (till 6 November 2017). They had sold stocks worth a net Rs 4949.02 crore into the secondary equity markets in October 2017.

FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 6427.93 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2017 so far (till 6 November 2017). They had purchased shares worth a net Rs 12094.42 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2016.

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 693.03 crore from the primary market & others' category in November 2017 so far (till 6 November 2017). They had bought stocks worth a net Rs 8004.46 crore from the primary market & others' category in October 2017.

FPIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 34691.63 crore from the 'primary markets & others' category in calendar year 2017 so far (till 6 November 2017). The net inflow from FPIs into the category 'primary markets & others' had totaled Rs 8471.76 crore in calendar year 2016.
