Net inflow of Rs 2667.64 crore on 14 November 2017
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks worth a net Rs 2667.64 crore from the secondary equity markets on 14 November 2017, compared with net outflow of Rs 137.36 crore on 13 November 2017. On 14 November 2017, the Sensex fell 91.69 points or 0.28% at 32,941.87, its lowest closing level since 24 October 2017.
The net inflow of Rs 2667.64 crore on 14 November 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 8069.38 crore and gross sales of Rs 5401.74 crore.
There was a net inflow of Rs 13.30 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 14 November 2017, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 13.97 crore and gross sales of Rs 0.67 crore.
FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 10855.48 crore from the secondary equity markets in November 2017 so far (till 14 November 2017). They had sold stocks worth a net Rs 4949.02 crore into the secondary equity markets in October 2017.
