Net inflow of Rs 23.75 crore on 28 November 2017
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks worth a net Rs 23.75 crore from the secondary equity markets on 28 November 2017, compared with net outflow of Rs 416.91 crore on 27 November 2017. On 28 November 2017, the Sensex fell 105.85 points or 0.31% to settle at 33,618.59, its lowest closing level since 23 November 2017.
The net inflow of Rs 23.75 crore on 28 November 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4353.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 4329.95 crore.
There was a net inflow of Rs 760.60 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 28 November 2017, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 760.79 crore and gross sales of Rs 0.19 crore.
FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 10355.64 crore from the secondary equity markets in November 2017 so far (till 28 November 2017). They had sold stocks worth a net Rs 4949.02 crore into the secondary equity markets in October 2017.
