FPIs turn net buyers

Net inflow of Rs 822.10 crore on 14 May 2018

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks worth a net Rs 822.10 crore from the secondary equity markets on 14 May 2018, as compared to net outflow of Rs 330.21 crore on 11 May 2018.

The net inflow of Rs 822.10 crore into the secondary equity markets on 14 May 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4777.71 crore and gross sales of Rs 3955.61 crore.

There was a net outflow of Rs 0.44 crore from the 'primary market & others' category on 14 May 2018.

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 8536.97 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 14 May 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.

 

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 13483.60 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 14 May 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
