Net outflow of Rs 73.98 crore on 30 October 2017
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 73.98 crore into the secondary equity markets on 30 October 2017, compared with net inflow of Rs 184.82 crore on 27 October 2017. On 30 October 2017, the Sensex rose 108.94 points or 0.33% to settle at 33,266.16, a record closing high.
The net outflow of Rs 73.98 crore on 30 October 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 5017.84 crore and gross sales of Rs 5091.82 crore.
There was a net inflow of Rs 129.87 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 30 October 2017, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 130.84 crore and gross sales of Rs 0.97 crore.
FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 4949.33 crore into the secondary equity markets in October 2017 so far (till 30 October 2017). They had sold stocks worth a net Rs 19973.64 crore into the secondary equity markets in September 2017.
