Net outflow of Rs 137.28 crore on 24 November 2017
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 137.28 crore into the secondary equity markets on 24 November 2017, compared with net inflow of Rs 217.68 crore on 23 November 2017. On 24 November 2017, the Sensex advanced 91.16 points or 0.27% to settle at 33,679.24, its highest closing level since 6 November 2017.
The net outflow of Rs 137.28 crore on 24 November 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4318.06 crore and gross sales of Rs 4455.34 crore.
There was a net inflow of Rs 244.83 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 24 November 2017, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 246.83 crore and gross sales of Rs 2 crore.
FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 10748.80 crore from the secondary equity markets in November 2017 so far (till 24 November 2017). They had sold stocks worth a net Rs 4949.02 crore into the secondary equity markets in October 2017.
