Net outflow of Rs 652.14 crore on 29 November 2017
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 652.14 crore into the secondary equity markets on 29 November 2017, compared with net inflow of Rs 23.75 crore on 28 November 2017. On 29 November 2017, the Sensex fell 15.83 points or 0.05% to settle at 33,602.76, its lowest closing level since 23 November 2017.
The net outflow of Rs 652.14 crore on 29 November 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4829 crore and gross sales of Rs 5481.14 crore.
There was a net inflow of Rs 29.70 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 29 November 2017, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 30.48 crore and gross sales of Rs 0.78 crore.
FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 9703.50 crore from the secondary equity markets in November 2017 so far (till 29 November 2017). They had sold stocks worth a net Rs 4949.02 crore into the secondary equity markets in October 2017.
