FPIs turn net sellers

Net outflow of Rs 1112.84 crore on 22 June 2018

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 1112.84 crore into the secondary equity markets on 22 June 2018, as compared with net inflow of Rs 1309.28 crore on 21 June 2018.

The net outflow of Rs 1112.84 crore into the secondary equity markets on 22 June 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 5175.94 crore and gross sales of Rs 6288.78 crore.

There was a net inflow of Rs 2353.69 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 22 June 2018.

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 22541.52 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 22 June 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.

 

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 16823.34 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 22 June 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
