Gammon Infra projects jumps after allotment of shares via QIP

The stock hit a high of Rs 15 and a low of Rs 14.70 so far during the day

Gammon Infrastructure Projects jumped 3.42% to Rs 14.80 at 10:03 IST on BSE after the firm said the QIP committee of directors allotted 20.41 crore equity shares to eligible QIBs at Rs 12.68 per equity share, aggregating to about Rs 258.89 crore.

The announcement was made after market hours on Monday, 8 September 2014. On BSE, so far 53,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 86,000 shares in the past two weeks.

The stock hit a high of Rs 15 and a low of Rs 14.70 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 16.43 on 26 May 2014. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 6.33 on 23 September 2013.

 

Gammon Infrastructure Projects reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 20.60 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2014, higher than net loss of Rs 1.69 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2013. Net sales declined 4.42% to Rs 145.10 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2014 over the quarter ended 30 June 2013.
