Gateway Distriparks rose 2.45% to Rs 240.75 at 10:14 IST on BSE after consolidated net profit rose 23.03% to Rs 36.91 crore on 13.52% growth in total income from operations to Rs 279.87 crore in Q1 June 2014 over Q1 June 2013.
The Q1 result was announced after market hours on Tuesday, 5 August 2014.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 49.59 points or 0.19% at 25,858.42.
On BSE, so far 15,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 18,000 shares in the past two weeks.
The stock hit a high of Rs 246 and a low of Rs 236.50 so far during the day.
Gateway Distriparks (GDL) was incorporated in 1994 to conduct the business of general and bonded warehousing, handling and clearing of sea borne exim cargo in containerised form at Navi Mumbai. Over time, GDL had ventured into other activities in the logistics industry as well. The company operates in three verticals viz. Container Freight Stations (CFS), Inland Container Depots (ICD) with rail movement of containers to major maritime ports, and cold chain storage and logistics.
