GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals leads gainers in 'A' group

GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals spurted 5.56% to Rs 2,606. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.

Liquor maker United Spirits galloped 3.81% to Rs 2,513.65. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) Pte bought 10.80 lakh shares, or 0.74% stake of the company at Rs 2118.23 per share through a bulk deal on NSE on Friday, 28 June 2013. As on 31 March 2013, Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) Pte held 40.84 lakh shares, or 3.12% stake in United Spirits.

Pharmaceutical company Lupin jumped 3.70% to Rs 830.95. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

 

Pharmaceutical company IPCA Laboratories rose 2.62% to Rs 689.45. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

FMCG company Emami climbed 1.84% to Rs 484. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
