GM Breweries spurts on bagging license to make hand sanitizers

GM Breweries jumped 7.55% to Rs 332.45 after the company said it received a license to manufacture hand sanitisers from Food & Drugs Administration (FDA), (Maharashtra).

GM Breweries has received a license to manufacture hand sanitisers from Food & Drugs Administration (FDA), (Maharashtra State, Thane) which is valid from 31 March to 30 June 2020. The company said the commercial production of hand sanitizers will commence shortly. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 31 March 2020.

GM Breweries' consolidated net profit dropped 16.34% to Rs 13.98 crore on a 3.96% fall in net sales to Rs 119.62 crore in Q3 December 2019 over Q3 December 2018.

 

GM Breweries is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of alcoholic beverages such as country liquor (CL) and Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL).
