Goa Carbon Ltd gained 3.26% today to trade at Rs 507. The S&P BSE Energy index is up 0.94% to quote at 4177.66. The index is down 0.05 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd increased 2.07% and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd added 1.78% on the day. The S&P BSE Energy index went up 0.04 % over last one year compared to the 7.62% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
